Kristin Parker, Ph.D., MPH, is the leader of MercerWELL, a specialty practice at Mercer that focuses on wellbeing. She has dedicated most of her career to this field and has been with Mercer for 16 years.Kristin serves as a national resource and specializes in strategy, behavior change sciences, member advocacy and navigation, vendor selection, implementation, and evaluation, including VOI analyses and methodology. She has worked in the field of health and productivity management and employee benefits for over 14 years.
Kristin serves as a reviewer to multiple journals including Preventive Medicine and Human Resource Management Journal, has published more than 15 peer-reviewed papers, multiple books and book chapters, and presents at professional conferences nationwide.
Kristin has a master's in public health and a PhD in health promotion and health behavior from University of Georgia, with a focus on program evaluation of employer health promotion programs. After returning to Mercer, she excelled in the advocacy and program evaluation spaces and eventually took on leadership roles. She started leading the North-East market for the MercerWELL team and later had the opportunity to build the first specialty practices on a global scale. Her goal is to create a community and ensure consistency across different geographies while expanding Mercer's capabilities.
